Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers is seeking a Proposals and Events Manager in Los Angeles, hybrid role. You will lead competitive RFP responses, build efficient proposal processes, and coordinate major conferences and events to grow Woodcraft’s external presence.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of RFP experience, strong writing and project management skills, and familiarity with California expanded learning programs. Collaboration across departments is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience leading competitive RFP responses for school districts, public agencies, or government funders.
• Ability to organize, write clearly, and deliver compliant proposals on deadline.
• Strong project management and coordination across departments.
• Experience planning and managing conferences, events, and sector convenings.
• Familiarity with California expanded learning programs (ELO-P, ASES, 21st CCLC, ASSETs).
• Proficiency with Microsoft and Google tools; comfortable using a CRM (HubSpot) and project software (Monday.com).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RFP responses from release through submission.
• Coordinate program data, budgets, and compliance matrices for proposals.
• Assemble and maintain a proposal library with boilerplate language and forms.
• Manage Woodcraft's conference presence, registrations, booth logistics, and sponsorships.
• Collaborate across Partnerships, Programs, Finance, Data, External Affairs and other teams to gather inputs.
• Track post-award and post-loss debriefs and implement lessons learned.
• Plan and execute education conferences and sector convenings with attention to branding and consistency.
