Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services is seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to support business development for airport operations and maintenance contracts. You will craft compliant, compelling responses to RFPs and RFQs, focusing on BHS, PBB, ramp O&M, and GSE services while translating technical concepts into persuasive narratives.

The role requires 3–5+ years of proposal writing experience, strong writing/editing skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional proposal writing or technical writing experience, preferably for public-sector, municipal, or government contracts.
• Ability to produce clear, concise, persuasive, and compliant proposal content under deadline pressure.
• Strong understanding of RFP response processes, compliance matrices, and evaluation criteria.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaborative tools such as SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Analyze solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) to identify requirements, evaluation factors, instructions, and compliance elements.
• Lead or support the full proposal lifecycle: kick-off, strategy sessions, content planning, drafting, internal reviews, production, and submission.
• Write, edit, and refine proposal sections including executive summaries, technical approaches, management and quality plans, staffing and resumes.
• Collaborate with SMEs, capture managers, and business leadership to gather inputs and shape win themes.
• Ensure 100% compliance with solicitation requirements, formatting standards, page limits, and branding guidelines.
