Job summary

Landrum & Brown is seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to lead high-quality aviation proposals and related materials. You will oversee the full lifecycle from kickoff to submission, collaborating with technical staff, project managers, and leadership.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of proposal development experience, strong writing/editing skills, and a meticulous attention to detail. The role supports hybrid work and equity in pay across markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of career experience including 5-10 years in proposal development, preferably in aviation or transportation.
• Experience managing deadline-driven RFPs, RFQs, and SOQs.
• APMP certification or related proposal-management training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full proposal lifecycle for RFPs, RFQs, SOQs, and other client solicitations.
• Review solicitation documents, identify requirements, deadlines, and compliance needs.
• Develop proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, assignments, and production plans.
• Coordinate proposal content with technical staff, project managers, and teaming partners.
• Write, edit, and refine proposal content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and responsiveness.
• Tailor resumes, project descriptions, and other materials for each pursuit.
• Coordinate graphics, formatting, and final production to match branding.
• Perform quality-control reviews for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage final electronic and print submissions and on-time delivery.
• Support interview and presentation development and broader marketing initiatives.
• Maintain proposal resources and boilerplate content.
