Job summary

Forvis Mazars US in Houston is seeking a Lead Proposal Specialist to drive strategy, planning, content development, and workflow for strategic pursuits, partnering with partners, senior client service professionals, sector leaders, and the National Proposal Team.

You will lead RFPs and proactive proposals, guide client-centered messaging, and align sector priorities with reusable content, templates, and QA reviews to improve speed, quality, and win rates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area and APMP certification preferred.
• 5+ years in proposal management, pursuit strategy, or related field.
• Ability to convert client needs into clear, client-centered messaging.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned RFPs and pursuit deliverables from planning to delivery.
• Guide teams on client needs, win themes, and content requirements.
• Coordinate with sector leaders, marketing, and client service stakeholders.
• Translate priorities into proposal-ready guidance and reusable language.
• Collaborate with content, production, designers, and reviewers to ensure consistency.
