Job summary

AET Federal, Inc. is seeking a motivated Proposal Manager to lead federal and commercial proposals from outline to submission in a fast-paced, small team environment.

Based in our Tysons, VA office, this full-time role starts on-site for the first 90 days with hybrid work options thereafter. You will coordinate writing, editing, compliance, and submission activities across RFPs, RFIs and RFQs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 3+ years of proposal writing and GovCon experience.
• Knowledge of government proposal terminology and processes.
• Experience writing RFI, RFP, and RFQ responses.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and refine proposal content across sections.
• Tailor language to solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Manage drafts through final submission.
• Develop and maintain compliance matrices and checklists.
• Track proposal schedules and deadlines.
• Coordinate inputs from internal contributors and SMEs.
• Perform quality checks for grammar and formatting.
