Job summary

CDW, a Fortune 500 technology solutions provider, seeks a Proposal Specialist to own end-to-end proposal development for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs. You will coordinate color-team reviews, manage timelines, and ensure compliant, persuasive content across sales, technical, pricing, contracts, and legal teams.

You will leverage company-approved AI tools to accelerate drafting, validate outputs, and grow the content library, while maintaining strict data confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Two or more years of proposal writing, proposal management, project management, technical/business writing or editorial experience.
• Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadline-driven projects at the same time.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on compliance.
• Working proficiency with generative AI tools and a willingness to adopt new technology.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Sound judgment, composure under pressure and constructive communication with all levels of the organization, including executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal processes for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs and similar solicitations.
• Coordinate color team reviews and cross-functional resources.
• Develop win strategies and write persuasive compliant content.
• Use AI tools to analyze solicitations, draft content and improve reviews.
• Ensure timely submission and post-submission support as needed.
• Contribute to content library and process improvements.
