Job summary

Limbach is seeking a Special Projects Manager in Massachusetts to lead Special Projects with a focus on achieving annual sales and operating income goals. You will collaborate with internal teams, promote core capabilities, and manage value engineering opportunities through LCS partnerships.

The role requires 5–10 years of industry experience, strong communication and leadership, and travel up to 50%. A construction background and CAD/PM software skills are preferred, with a bachelor’s degree

• Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel locally up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Achieve department's annual sales and operating income goals.
• Prospect and establish new customers by promoting company capabilities.
• Partner with LCS to perform reviews for design-assist or design-build opportunities.
• Provide input on prospective new work and assist with cost estimates.
• Writes bid scope proposals, secures bid bonds/insurance, and completes customer bid forms.
• Reviews bid documents and performs take-offs for trades as required.
• Attends pre-bid meetings and site walk-throughs.
• Executes new contract implementation to secure repeat business.
• Tracks job cost, forecasts, billings, and cash collections.
• Gathers documents and calculations into final bids.
• Leads bid reviews with peers/management.
