Job summary

The Old Globe seeks an organized, proactive Project Manager to support cross-departmental strategic initiatives and advance the theatre's long-term goals. This full-time role reports to the Managing Director and collaborates with the Artistic Director and leaders across Production, Artistic, Philanthropy, Marketing, Arts Engagement, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of project management and/or theatre operations experience.
  • Experience in nonprofit, performing arts, or cultural orgs preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
  • Collaborate across many departments while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for organizational initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental projects from initiation through completion.
  • Monitor progress, identify scheduling conflicts, risks, and resource constraints.
  • Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, document actions, and follow up.
  • Maintain project management tools, calendars, and reporting systems.
