Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Strategic Projects Lead, Recruiting to join a leader in Pharmaceuticals & Biotech. This role will drive high-priority recruiting initiatives, partnering with recruiting leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to identify friction, design solutions, and build operating rhythms that increase clarity and consistency.

Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years in program management or people/talent roles at a fast-growing company.
  • Experience partnering with talent teams and understanding recruiting operations.
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to design cross-team fixes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of AI applications in workflow processes.
  • Experience implementing significant changes within an organization.
  • Ability to commit to decisions and execute with credibility.

  • Establish operational rhythms for planning and review among recruiting teams.
  • Identify and resolve systemic friction points within recruiting processes.
  • Drive process design and adoption for company-wide initiatives affecting recruiting.
  • Oversee headcount and workforce planning across recruiting teams.
  • Set standards for the interview process and address deviations.
  • Convert analytics into manageable SOPs and ensure documentation is accessible.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to avoid bottlenecks and maintain system fluency.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Strategic Projects Lead, Recruiting to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.
This role will drive high-priority recruiting initiatives that improve how the talent function plans, executes, and scales in a fast-moving environment. You will partner closely with recruiting leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to identify systemic friction, design practical solutions, and build operating rhythms that increase clarity and consistency. The position is focused on translating data and process insights into durable standards, documentation, and workflows that support sound decision-making across the recruiting organization.
Location: Seattle, WA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $235,000 – $300,000 annually

Responsibilities
