Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation — EMD Cheswick in Pittsburgh is hiring a Project Scheduler. You will manage detailed project schedules, identify risks early, and guide project teams through Critical Chain and ERP-aligned planning.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and Microsoft Project, plus DoD-clearance eligibility. This is an on-site position with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and Microsoft Project.
• Understanding of MRP/CRP, Bills of Materials, Routings, Manufacturing processes, Theory of Constraints and Critical Chain Schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to communicate to all levels.
• U.S. citizen and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules within Operations Planning & Control group to provide schedule progress and estimates.
• Apply Theory of Constraints to identify constraints and impacts on schedules.
• Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the schedule, including setup activities and material delays.
• Determine and manage schedule buffers to protect customer commitment dates.
• Lead and participate in Project Team meetings to communicate schedule health.
• Maintain prerequisites, work orders, and material shortages to ensure on-time starts.
• Provide inputs to Project/Program Management for invoice points and monthly budget projections.
• Ensure alignment between schedule completion dates and ERP/MRP dates.
