Job summary

LTD GLOBAL is seeking a Senior Project Risk Manager to lead the risk-management program for a large-scale capital construction upgrade in the Berkeley area. You will serve as the principal advisor on risk, delivering independent assessments of threats and opportunities impacting scope, cost, schedule, and milestones—combining leadership, quantitative analysis, mitigation oversight, and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, PM, business, economics, math or related field with 8+ years in risk management on complex projects.
• Experience leading risk management on large technically complex programs.
• Experience with risk registers, workshops, senior reviews and mitigation tracking.
• Experience with Monte Carlo simulations, uncertainty/sensitivity analyses, and contingency assessments.
• Experience integrating risk data with schedules, cost estimates, EAC, and change control.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Risk Management Plan, taxonomy, and governance cadence; facilitate the Risk Management Board; maintain the risk register.
• Run risk workshops across technical, procurement, staffing, and commissioning areas; develop risk statements; identify cross-cutting risks.
• Build and maintain cost/schedule risk models; run Monte Carlo simulations; assess contingency adequacy; support baselines and funding decisions.
• Help owners develop measurable mitigation plans; track commitments and elevate stalled actions.
• Assess critical-path risk, vendor/staffing/funding exposure, and external dependencies.
• Deliver monthly reports and executive briefings; maintain auditable risk records.
• Develop risk-management training and quality standards; benchmark against industry practices
