Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Procurement Projects Lead to drive strategies that enable timely project completion, reduce risk, and maximize savings. You will coordinate with regional category leads, PM, engineering, and finance to align on goals and deliver results across complex programs.

The role requires 5–8 years of procurement project experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with SAP and MS Teams in a hybrid work setting. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, engineering, or related field.
• CPSM and/or PMP certification preferred.
• 5–8 years of project-based Procurement experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the Project team to the Procurement organization.
• Support project success by delivering on schedule and budget, monitoring risks, and ensuring quality.
• Review and approve resale scope, budget, and schedule for assigned projects.
• Develop procurement plans at handover and manage procurement throughout project lifecycle.
• Lead weekly project meetings to review procurement plan, tracker, and data.
• Collaborate with sourcing teams to identify qualified resale equipment and develop sourcing plans.
• Communicate supplier lead-times to establish just-in-time ordering and timely deliveries.
• Guide expediting and align SAP delivery dates with project timelines; participate in gate reviews.
