Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Procurement Projects Lead to join our team in Wisconsin. You will work with regional category leads, project management, engineering, and finance to develop and implement strategies that drive on-time completion, reduce risk, and increase savings across key customers.

This role offers exposure to a global supply chain ecosystem, collaboration across functions, and travel up to 25%. You will lead sourcing plans, monitor risk, and ensure procurement readiness throughout

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, engineering, or related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant project-based procurement experience.
• Certified CPSM and/or PMP preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP and MS Teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SPOC for the project team to the procurement organization.
• Support project success by delivering on schedule and budget.
• Review resale scope, budget, and schedule for projects.
• Develop Procurement Plan at project handover and manage lifecycle.
• Attend weekly project and risk management meetings to understand scope and risks.
• Lead weekly procurement plan reviews and data tracking.
• Collaborate with sourcing categories to identify qualified sources.
• Prepare resale project requirements content sheet for Category teams.
• Communicate supplier lead-times for just-in-time ordering to meet schedule.
• Guide expediting and align SAP dates with project timeline; participate in gate reviews.
• Conduct supplier gate reviews with key suppliers per checklist.
• Track negotiated resale savings and align with Project Finance.
• Main procurement liaison between Project Management and Engineering.
• Lead lessons learned meeting and proactive supplier challenge responses.
• Align with BU program management and large customer accounts.
• Travel up to 25% with hybrid remote/in-office work.
