Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Procurement Projects Lead to join our team. This role collaborates with Procurement Regional Category Leads, Project Management, Engineering, and Finance to develop, communicate, and implement strategies that drive timely completion, reduce risk, and increase savings.

You will manage significant spending for key customers, lead procurement planning, monitor supplier performance, and support a hybrid/remote work model with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, engineering, or related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant project-based procurement experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience with SAP and MS Teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Serve as SPOC for the project team to the procurement organization.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and supplier delivery.
• Review resale scope, budget, and schedule for assigned projects.
• Lead procurement planning and lifecycle activities.
• Coordinate sourcing plans with category teams.
• Monitor savings and align with finance for reporting.
• Travel up to 25% with hybrid/remote work arrangements.
