ANDRITZ Schuler North America is seeking a Project Manager to lead major capital projects in the metal forming industry. You will act as the primary customer liaison and coordinate Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Field Service, Accounting, and affiliates from our Canton, MI operations.

You will establish scope, schedule, budget, risk, and documentation, proactively identify risks, and drive resolution while ensuring compliance with EHS and company requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in Project Management, Engineering, or related discipline and 5+ years of related experience.
• PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications is highly desirable.
• Experience with corporate business operations software is a must; SAP knowledge is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics and more.
• Establish and maintain scope, schedule, budget, cost forecast and project documentation.
• Escalate risks to customer commitments, project margin, cash flow, quality and contractual performance and drive actions for resolution.
• Create and maintain project timing plan in MS Project.
• Establish project budget plan and manage project expenditure within approved item values.
• Report budget and timing, actual and forecast to complete, and identify risks in a timely manner.
• Define mitigation actions, owners, and target dates, and escalate material risks with management.
• Identify scope changes with Sales, Engineering, Legal, and Finance; lead negotiations with the customer and update purchase orders and baselines.
• Ensure change requests are documented, evaluated, approved, and incorporated into the PO before execution.
• Write specifications for third party services or scope of supply.
• Review supplier quotations and make recommendations for selection.
