Job summary

ANDRITZ AG is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead automation and electrification for capital projects in Alpharetta, GA. The role requires delivering projects on time and within budget, with a solid understanding of automation and electrification technologies and strong leadership.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, and mentor junior managers while upholding ANDRITZ quality standards and driving continuous improvement in project management practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related field with focus on automation and electrification technologies.
• 8+ years of experience in project management delivering automation and electrification projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of automation and electrification technologies, industry standards, best practices, and trends.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to mitigate risks and issues.
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and electrification projects from inception to completion, ensuring goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resourcing, including procurement support.
• Define project objectives, scope, and success criteria with stakeholders and identify opportunities for additional automation scope.
• Manage risks and issues, develop contingency plans, and communicate progress to leadership.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and supply chain to ensure timely milestones.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams for effective communication.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Mentor junior project managers and drive continuous improvement of PM practices.
• Assist with proposals for Class A projects and ensure compliance with ANDRITZ quality system.
