Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Pleasanton, CA seeks a Project Manager to serve as the liaison between project owners, teams, and senior management, ensuring open communication of achievements and issues, and identifying process improvements.

You may also act as Project Owner for multiple initiatives, steering scope, budget, and quality, coordinating R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Quality, and Commercial teams to maximize portfolio value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in product development, project management and/or business process implementation.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
• Cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and improve business processes in support of Project Management and IBP.
• Demonstrate stewardship and provide project leadership to meet Division strategy.
• Coordinate activities from R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Quality and Commercial.
• Manage projects including market and line extensions, reformulations, new products, and new processes.
• Act as a point of contact for IBP process reporting and updates.
• Facilitate project through management process and resolve data integrity issues.
