Job summary

GT Independence is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives across operations, technology, and compliance. You will drive the full lifecycle from initiation to close using PMI-aligned methods, ensuring on-time delivery and value realization.

You will collaborate with Directors of Operations, Product Owners, and Implementation leads, managing readiness activities for new state launches and ongoing process improvements. This hybrid role offers growth and meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong working knowledge of PMI PMBOK-based methodology; PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated capability across multiple delivery methods (waterfall, agile, hybrid).
• Proficiency with project management platforms such as Monday.com, Smartsheet, Microsoft Planner/Project, or Jira.
• Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence without formal authority and work effectively across all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through closure, following established EPMO protocols and PMI-aligned methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid).
• Develop and maintain project charters, schedules, risk logs, CRAIDD logs, communication plans, and other required documentation.
• Ensure project scope, timeline, budget and quality remain aligned with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate project meetings, status reporting, risk/issue management, and decision tracking.
• Coordinate with executive sponsors, subject-matter experts, operations, IT, finance, compliance, and external partners to ensure deliverables are on time and on budget.
• Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive, transparent communication.
