Job summary

The Ohio State University’s Center for Cancer Innovation seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of cross-institution initiatives and strategic industry partnerships. You will partner with executive sponsors and subject-matter experts to define opportunities, value propositions, and success measures.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree +4 years PM exp or Bachelor +8 years PM exp.
• PMI-PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading large-scale change initiatives.
• Ability to manage complex projects with ambiguity.
• Advanced MS Office, Visio, Project, SharePoint proficiency.
• Experience supporting strategic partnerships in healthcare/academic environments preferred.
• Understanding of oncology clinical research preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to advance CCI initiatives.
• Define opportunities, objectives, value propositions, expected outcomes, and measures of success.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Coordinate pilots, due diligence, and collaborative workplans for partnerships.
• Synthesize findings into clear recommendations on next steps.
• Improve CCI and partnership intake, governance, and portfolio management processes.
• Collaborate across cancer program, university, medical center, and external partners.
• Travel to James/OSU Medical Complex sites and sponsor locations as needed.
