Job summary

You will provide patient and caregiver education, support the clinical trial screening process, and help implement the outreach strategic plan across The James and affiliate sites.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio nursing license required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• On Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years' oncology experience preferred.
• Basic PC and keyboard skills required; MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for cancer patients referred or self-referred from James Cancer Network affiliate sites for consultation or care at The James.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers to facilitate communication between patients and both internal and external providers.
• Provide support and education to patients and their caregivers related to issues that may occur when facing a cancer diagnosis.
