Job summary

The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center seeks a Research Development Partnerships Consultant to work with the Director on grants development and coordination across OSUCCC programs.

You will educate members, manage timelines, mentor staff, and support investigators by drafting grant documents and performing scientific review. This role engages with senior leadership and funding agencies to promote interdisciplinary research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable.
• 6 years of relevant experience required. 8-12 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate large programmatic grants applications with the Director.
• Educate OSUCCC members to enhance grantsmanship and fund programmatic grants.
• Coordinate and facilitate program meetings and manage grant timelines.
• Train and mentor staff supporting faculty in grant development.
• Support investigators by writing administrative cores and grant documents; provide high-level scientific review.
