Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate, Project Management to join the Consumer & Developer Experience team. You will design experiences, lead and execute initiatives, and help accelerate cross-enterprise work, reporting to a senior executive team to build an operational framework.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, strong communication, and collaboration across teams to drive delivery from concept through completion. A BS or military background and PM experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience required.
• At least 3 years of project management experience.
• 4+ years in operations, financial management, project or program management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage end-to-end engagement engine with annual OKR.
• Coordinate Talent Management and Performance Management cycles with HRBPs and leaders.
• Establish detailed program plans, governance routines, and lifecycle workflows.
• Support integration of associate experience and change management for transitions.
• Configure central collaboration platforms (Jira, Confluence, Google Sites, Slack) and maintain team playbooks.
• Lead ad hoc projects with Chiefs of Staff and enterprise partners to drive efficiency.
• Analyze data and communicate findings to inform decisions.
• Support strategic planning, including financial and resource planning and change management.
• Develop and maintain reporting and success metrics.
