Job summary

1st St NW Technical Staffing is seeking a Project Manager for an architectural metals fabrication firm in Minnesota. This direct-hire role requires overseeing projects from start to finish, managing schedules and budgets, reviewing drawings, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in project management, familiarity with architectural metals or curtainwall/glass, and strong MS Office skills. AutoCAD and Takeoff experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Architectural metals or curtainwall/glass industry experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) skills.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• AutoCAD drafting experience a big plus.
• On-Screen Takeoff experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage custom architectural metals fabrication projects from start to finish.
• Manage project schedules and budgets.
• Review shop drawings and construction documents/specifications.
• Gather materials costs from vendors.
• Assist in creating detailed estimates.
• Interface with architects, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors.
