Job summary

Design Hire seeks a Project Manager to oversee architectural metal construction projects from award through closeout, coordinating budgets, schedules, subcontractors and customer communications.

You will read drawings, manage procurement, track progress, and ensure quality from kickoff to handoff, with a focus on sheet metal, roofing, and façade work.

Bachelor's degree preferred and 5+ years of PM experience ideal for this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management in architectural metal/construction
• Understanding of sheet metal fabrication, roofing, façade
• Experience with budgets, scheduling, forecasting, change orders
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/shop drawings and specs

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from kickoff through final completion and handoff
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
• Coordinate with customers, architects, general contractors, fabrication teams, field personnel, and subcontractors
• Review drawings, shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Monitor progress, resolve field issues, support procurement, and maintain stakeholder communication
