Job summary

Delta Dental of Minnesota, the region’s leading dental benefits provider, seeks an accomplished Project Manager to lead large-scale initiatives within Stratacor. You will govern scope, schedule, cost, and risk, directing cross-functional teams to meet strategic goals.

Applicants should bring seven years of PM experience, leadership skills, and a PMP or Six Sigma certification where possible; a business degree is preferred. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years of project management experience.
• Five (5) years of managing increasingly complex projects.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of dental and/or health insurance preferred.
• Healthcare project management experience a plus.
• PMP and/or Six Sigma certificates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements with clients and stakeholders and set realistic delivery dates.
• Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle planning, risk resolution and reporting up to executive level.
• Direct implementation teams to achieve quality, service and efficiency.
• Lead cross-regional teams to develop and implement new business initiatives.
• Ensure team work aligns with business plans and corporate strategy.
• Coordinate with management on short- and long-term plans to drive performance.
• Shape strategic direction with senior management for major initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-department capabilities for seamless solutions.
• Drive end-to-end project development from feasibility to rollout and support.
• Communicate changes and impacts of system enhancements to teams and leadership.
