Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead client projects and defined workstreams through the full lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. You will develop plans, monitor timelines and budgets, and align objectives with client priorities.

You will communicate status clearly to clients and senior management, motivate teams, and drive initiatives across the implementation program while supporting sales efforts when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years related work experience.
• One year of managing a project and one year of Financial Services or function-specific experience preferred.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads client projects or defined workstreams through full project lifecycle, accountable for execution and quality.
• Develops, implements, and monitors project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Aligns objectives with department strategy and client priorities.
• Monitors performance, identifies risks, issues, dependencies, and recommends actions.
• Communicates status and updates clearly to clients and senior managers.
• Provides direction and motivation to project teams and delegates effectively.
• Represents Vanguard in meetings and supports sales efforts.
• Champions initiatives and supports long-term retirement plan strategy.
• Participates in special projects.
