Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Project Financial Advisor to partner with project delivery teams and steer financial outcomes across the full project lifecycle. You will lead budgeting, revenue recognition, and monthly financial reviews to ensure profitability and risk mitigation.

In this role, you will guide on WBS setup, rate selection, and pricing inputs, monitor margins, and coordinate with FP&A and Controllership to maintain compliance and strong financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or closely-related discipline.
• 5-7 years in project finance or commercial finance in engineering, construction, or professional services.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office; ERP tools experience (Oracle preferred).
• Experience with PowerBI or data visualization tools (advantageous).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Project Managers for sound financial management.
• Assist in project setup: WBS, budgeting, rate selection.
• Support forecasting and margin analysis.
• Review labor structures, rates, and recoverability.
• Monitor contracts for financial nuances and revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with finance teams on escalations and process improvements.
