IDEX Corporation is seeking a Project Accounting & Finance Professional to support an assigned portfolio of service and equipment projects within the Finance organization. You will handle project setup, modifications, and contract-to-system reconciliation, with billing readiness, forecasting, and commercial support as part of a dynamic, global team.

The role reports to the FP&A Manager and offers exposure to revenue recognition, month-end close, and regional consolidation.

Qualifikationen

• Foundational knowledge of accounting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Experience with Excel and financial schedules.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear communication across Finance, Contracts, Billing, Operations, and project teams.

Aufgaben

• Verify required approvals and documentation before processing project setup and approved modifications in Deltek Costpoint ERP.
• Reconcile contract values, project details, funding, and modifications between CRM and Deltek Costpoint ERP; resolve discrepancies with relevant teams.
• Review project setup against billing terms and revenue recognition policies; escalate exceptions for review.
• Validate labor, materials, subcontractor costs, and cost allocations for assigned projects; coordinate with regional analysts.
• Support billing readiness by confirming PO, rates, milestones, terms, and supporting docs with Billing and project managers.
• Review aged unbilled balances and billing discrepancies; coordinate resolution with Billing, Collections, and project managers.
• Track approved and pending change orders; flag work outside approved scope or funding.
