Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Financial Analyst to join Corporate FP&A, reporting to the finance leadership and supporting planning, forecasting, and Board deliverables. This role emphasizes variance analysis, model development, and cross-functional collaboration across a global enterprise.

Onsite in Westbrook, Maine, with an expected 8+ days per month on location, you will contribute to month-end close, budgeting, and strategic planning, while advancing data-driven decision making and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills with large data sets.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial information.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in close/forecast/budget cycles.
• Strong written and verbal communication for financial audiences.
• Curiosity and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring management reporting for month-end and quarter-end close, including consolidated total company results, standard reporting packages, and variance analysis with clear commentary.
• Support total company forecast and annual budget roll-up by collecting and validating submissions from segments and functions, reconciling inputs, and preparing consolidated views.
• Develop Board of Directors and executive leadership materials with supporting schedules, charts, and exhibits.
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, and operating expense performance against forecast and prior year, explaining changes.
• Build and maintain financial models, reporting templates, dashboards, and analytical tools for data accuracy and consistency.
