Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Project Accounting & Finance Professional to join our Finance team in a full-time capacity. You will support an assigned portfolio of service and equipment projects, handling project setup, modifications, and contract-to-system reconciliation, with emphasis on project accounting, billing readiness, and forecasting.

You will collaborate with FP&A, Billing, and Operations to ensure accurate revenue recognition, cost tracking, and timely financial reporting in Deltek Costpoint and

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of accounting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Experience with Excel formulas, data checks, and financial schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with Finance, Contracts, Billing, Operations, and project teams.
• Familiar with Deltek Costpoint, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, or similar systems.
• Experience in project accounting, forecasting, and month-end close is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support contract and project setup, verifications, and modifications.
• Reconcile contract values and project details between systems (CRM and ERP).
• Review project setup against billing terms and revenue recognition policies.
• Maintain weekly and monthly project dashboards and forecasting schedules.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and cost adjustments.
• Support month-end close and regional FP&A submissions.
