Job summary

Schwob Energy Services in Dallas, TX seeks a Project Controls Specialist to support project teams with cost and productivity tracking, forecasting, and schedule maintenance. You will ensure data accuracy across Procore, Spectrum, and SharePoint, delivering reliable reports to guide decisions.

This role collaborates with multiple Project Managers, handles change management, and prepares client change order documentation and cost impact summaries. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 3–5 years of cost tracking, project controls or scheduling experience.
• Experience with Procore and SharePoint required.
• Experience with Spectrum or similar ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Cost tracking and forecasting, maintain budgets and WBS structures.
• Track actuals vs. budget and support updated forecasts.
• Prepare variance explanations and cost-to-complete projections.
• Log and manage change orders with supporting docs.
• Update schedules in MS Project, Procore, or Primavera P6.
• Generate weekly and monthly project reports for leadership.
• Ensure file management and version control in SharePoint and Procore.
• Coordinate with PMs and other departments to ensure data accuracy.
