Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Sr. Project Controls Cost Analyst for a Dallas-area project. You will ensure budgets and schedules are controlled, input data accurately, and deliver timely cost reports. The role requires strong analytics, Excel expertise, and collaboration with project teams.

You will develop and monitor cost forecasts, review invoices and timesheets, and support baseline establishment while coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience may substitute.
• 10+ years in cost control or similar, preferably in construction.
• Pipeline construction industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Break down project estimates and allocate budgets to standard accounts.
• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules across phases.
• Enter, verify, and report cost data in the cost reporting system(s).
• Analyze cost and productivity data; present findings and recommendations.
• Prepare and maintain cost reports, forecasts, and progress summaries.
• Support project setup, coding, take-offs, and baselines.
