ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Principal Project Controls Cost Analyst to lead the design and implementation of Project Controls, MIS, and governance across extensive capital programs in the New England region. You will develop budgets, forecasts, and dashboards while guiding project leadership through cost and schedule performance metrics.

You will oversee unbiased cost reporting, risk assessment, and opportunities, ensuring alignment with long-range capital plans and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 15+ years in project controls, program controls, cost engineering, finance, accounting, construction management, or project management.
• Experience designing and overseeing project controls, program management, and MIS for large-scale capital programs.
• Extensive experience supporting large utility, infrastructure, engineering, or construction projects with complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, cost management, variance analysis, and project performance reporting.
• Experience with earned value management (EVM), governance frameworks, and portfolio-level reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Experience with SAP and Procore preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain detailed forecasts and cash flow projections for large capital projects.
• Design, implement, and oversee project controls, program management, and MIS across programs.
• Collaborate with project teams and lead status meetings to ensure accurate data collection.
• Monitor variances between forecast, budget and actual costs and provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare and deliver regular project controls reports, including EV metrics and dashboards.
• Support PMs in identifying costs, risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
• Align project controls activities with long-term capital investment objectives.
• Ensure compliance with policies, controls, governance, and regulatory standards.
• Act as liaison during contract award/execution to ensure contractor adherence to controls.
• Oversee timely processing of cost accruals and financial reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement in controls processes and systems.
