Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to support large-scale capital projects in the utility sector. You will help ensure on-time delivery, staying within budget and mitigating risk with effective reporting.

Responsibilities include leading scheduling, cost control, risk analysis, and executive-level updates. This role requires on-site collaboration with engineers and stakeholders to optimize project performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of project controls management on capital projects.
• Background in large infrastructure projects (oil & gas, LNG, etc.).
• Strong experience in project scheduling, cost control and risk management.
• Proficiency with project controls tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls across scheduling, cost management, and risk analysis.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with milestones.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, and budgets; identify variances and corrective actions.
• Implement and manage risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
• Partner with project managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to drive performance.
• Prepare and present project status reports, KPIs, and executive updates.
• Support continuous improvement of project controls processes and tools.
