Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation seeks a Lead Project Controls Analyst for Independence, Missouri. You will develop and maintain schedules (Primavera P6), implement cost control systems, and deliver progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring projects meet time, budget, and quality targets.

You will lead input from project teams, maintain WBS/CBS, perform EVM, and mentor junior staff while upholding corporate standards and industry best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive project controls experience, with at least 3 years in a lead/supervisory role.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software.
• Strong cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite skills.
• PMP, AACE certifications are a plus; SAP/Oracle ERP experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of project schedules using critical path methods.
• Develop cost control systems including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare detailed progress, cost, and schedule reports for stakeholders.
• Analyze data to identify trends and risks, offering proactive recommendations.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely input for controls activities.
• Create and maintain WBS and CBS for projects.
• Perform EVM analysis and report on performance.
• Support change management and mentor junior controls staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Participate in kickoff, reviews, and close-out activities.
