Rex Moore Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Manager in Sacramento to enhance predictability and enforce standards through audits and risk reviews.

The role focuses on early warning of forecast issues and coordinating with leadership to manage costs and timelines. The position requires extensive experience in project controls, strong analytical and leadership abilities, and a solid background in construction management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field.
• 7+ years in electrical construction, project controls, or related fields.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with cost control, forecasting, and risk management.
• Experience with ERP and project-management tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and validate project-controls compliance with established standards.
• Own a formal Project Operational Audit Program covering startup, forecasting, and closures.
• Identify forecast deterioration and risk indicators early for mitigation.
• Coordinate with FP&A and Finance for validated forecasts and reporting.
• Escalate material risk and noncompliance to the VP of Operations.
