Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Billing Specialist to join our Meridian, ID team. The role focuses on client billing, accounts receivable, and project financial setup, collaborating with Project Managers and the Project Finance team to ensure timely, accurate invoicing.

You will prepare invoices, monitor aging, support collections, and assist with onboarding and audits. Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in project accounting with a primary focus on project billings or a Bachelor’s degree with 0+ years’ experience.
• Strong initiative, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with Project Managers, vendors, and clients.
• Capability to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Occasional travel between offices may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit client invoices in accordance with contract terms and billing schedules.
• Ensure accurate billing of labor, expenses, subcontractors, and contract modifications.
• Maintain billing records, client remittance information, and supporting documentation.
• Submit invoices through client billing portals and resolve invoicing issues as needed.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and assist with collections on outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and clients to address billing questions and discrepancies.
• Track unbilled receivables and support revenue capture.
• Assist with project setup including contract terms, billing structures, rate tables, and revenue methods.
• Support onboarding activities within the accounting system.
• Code and route subcontractor invoices for approval and payment processing.
• Verify subcontractor invoices align with budgets and contractual requirements.
• Assist with cash receipt coding and reconciliation of billing discrepancies.
• Provide project financial reporting and billing analysis to stakeholders.
• Support project closeout, final invoicing, and AR reconciliation.
• Assist audits and compliance reviews as needed.
