Qualifications

• 2+ years of project accounting focusing on billings, or a BA with related experience.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Occasional travel between offices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit client invoices per contract terms and schedules.
• Ensure accurate billing of labor, expenses, subcontractors and changes.
• Maintain billing records, remittance information, and supporting docs.
• Submit invoices via client portals and resolve invoicing issues.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and assist collections.
• Collaborate with PMs and clients on billing questions and discrepancies.
• Track unbilled receivables and support revenue capture.
• Assist with project setup: terms, structures, rate tables, revenue methods.
• Support onboarding of new clients/projects in accounting system.
• Receive, code, route subcontractor invoices for approval and payment.
• Verify subcontractor invoices align with budgets and contractual requirements.
• Assist with cash receipt coding and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Provide project financial reporting and billing analysis.
• Support closeout activities including final invoicing and AR reconciliation.
• Assist audits and compliance reviews as needed.
