Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Two or more years of project billing experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret customer contracts, pricing schedules, labor rates, and billing requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Experience with SAP and advanced Excel (PivotTables, lookups).

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer invoices for Time & Materials, Cost Plus, and other contract types.
• Review and validate labor hours, expenses, subcontractor invoices, and material costs.
• Apply contractual labor rates, markups, overhead, and billing calculations.
• Verify supporting documentation prior to invoicing.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to resolve billing discrepancies and approvals.
• Maintain detailed billing records and respond to inquiries.
• Monitor contract funding ceilings and billing limitations; suggest improvements.
