Job summary

Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri seeks a Director of Programs and Partnerships to oversee a broad portfolio of district programs, working with subject-matter experts to deliver diverse experiences for girls. The role leads a team of Program Managers responsible for development, delivery, quality, and evaluation, and serves as the external face for community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Child and Family Development or related field or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years of program design, delivery, and evaluation experience, including supervising a team and budget management.
• Valid state driver’s license, proof of insurance, driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of Council programs throughout Eastern Missouri.
• Manage the day-to-day workload and activities of the assigned team, ensuring qualifications and training to high standards.
• Ensure programs align with organizational strategy, national Girl Scout portfolio, and needs across girls, communities, and participation models.
• Oversee planning and execution of major Council programs, events, and travel experiences with quality staffing and positive participant experience.
• Ensure programs meet safety, funding, policy, and documentation standards.
• Establish the annual department budget and manage day-to-day expenses, reporting variances.
• Use data and feedback to set goals, measure results, and improve the program portfolio.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Promote courtesy, respect, and professionalism to staff, volunteers, members, and the public.
• Collaborate as part of a team to advance the mission of Girl Scouts.
