Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct operational research, productivity analyses and management studies to assist in the management of departmental operations, programs, and services; develop reports and recommendations.
• Perform financial reviews and analyses; monitor expenditures and prepare cost analyses; assist in budget development.
• Coordinate special projects including planning, design, and evaluation of initiatives; allocate resources and provide administrative support.
• Plan and administer new programs and major initiatives; manage budgets; oversee contracts and liaise with stakeholders.
• Oversee professional contractors/consultants; monitor progress and ensure timely, quality completion.
• Assist department managers with strategic and long-range planning; monitor legislation impacting operations.
• Administer grants and monitor compliance with funding requirements.
• Respond to complaints and inquiries; provide information and coordinate across units.
• Represent the director at meetings and engage with civic/government organizations.
