Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in community engagement, service delivery, public administration, nonprofit administration, program management.
• Two years of supervisory or management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages, directs, and evaluates assigned staff; oversees work schedules; reviews timesheets; handles staff concerns; conducts performance appraisals.
• Organizes, prioritizes, and assigns work; ensures resources; monitors progress; provides reports to management.
• Develops and implements community engagement and small business initiatives; aligns with organizational priorities.
• Builds partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and government agencies; coordinates collaborative initiatives.
• Develops outreach strategies; facilitates meetings, workshops, and events; ensures accessibility and underserved populations' engagement.
• Monitors program performance; collects data; prepares reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Develops and monitors budgets; identifies funding opportunities and grant requirements; ensures stewardship.
• Provides training and technical assistance on accessibility, cultural awareness, and inclusive service delivery.
• Recommends policies and practices to improve participation and service delivery.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and standards.
• Represents the organization at community meetings and stakeholder groups; serves as liaison.
