DeKalb County is seeking a Policy Analyst (Management Analyst II) in the Policy Division, Human Resources & Merit Department. The role coordinates special projects, conducts research and analyzes departmental operations to support decision making.

Responsibilities include program and financial analysis, grant administration, strategic planning with division managers, and coordination with county departments and external partners to improve operations and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Public/Business Administration or related field.
• At least three years of experience in the area of assignment.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsabilités

• Conducts operational research and productivity analyses to support department operations.
• Performs financial reviews, cost analyses, and assists in budget development.
• Coordinates routine projects with internal or external parties and defines scope.
• Assists managers with strategic and long-range planning and regulatory monitoring.
• Represents the department in meetings and liaises with state authorities and committees.
• Responds to inquiries and ensures coordination across units.
