Job summary

The Government of the Virgin Islands seeks an experienced administrator to direct a major department project, overseeing budgets, personnel, and related operations.

Under supervision, the successful candidate will plan, organize, and evaluate program activities, prepare complex reports, and implement efficient procedures across the division.

A master's or bachelor's degree in business or public administration plus several years of progressively responsible administrative experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Directs planning and organizing all functions of a specific project or program.
• Prepares budget estimates for the project/program.
• Develops evaluation techniques for the project/program.
• Supervises the development and maintenance of the record system.
• Assigns and supervises subordinate personnel.
• Prepares monthly and annual reports; attends staff meetings.
• Evaluates new technical developments for incorporation into operations.
