Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized college or university with three years in computer programming, system design and analysis, including supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of computer systems, programming principles, systems analysis, and data processing methods.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing; plan, assign, and coordinate work with users, staff, and officials.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, assigns, coordinates, and reviews the work of Systems and Programming Section staff.
• Prepares written reports for the Director on assignment status, project progress, and section activities.
• Evaluates section personnel and provides guidance to improve work performance and technical effectiveness.
• Establishes and maintains communication with authorized users to identify needs and coordinate data processing services.
• Maintains, develops, and modifies computer systems and programs to meet operational requirements.
• Conducts and coordinates staff training to support effective system use and technical development.
• Evaluates new technical developments and recommends appropriate application to section operations.
