Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 15 accounting credits plus 2 years government accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 15 accounting credits plus 4 years government accounting experience.
• Two years' experience at Accountant II level in accounting.

Responsibilities

• Direct or coordinate major accounting and fiscal operations.
• Prepare general fund and special/federal budgets and reports.
• Supervise subordinate staff; review monthly/quarterly reports.
• Maintain vendor balance spreadsheets and related correspondence.
• Oversee operations in the director's absence; enter budget data in FM System.
• Analyze expenditures and receipts from source documents for accuracy.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures and policies.
• Provide financial information and reports as needed.
