Job summary

Amphenol Military High Speed in Endicott, NY is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead complex engineering and manufacturing programs from proposal through delivery.

You will prepare proposals, negotiate with customers, manage start-up, plans, schedules, risks, and supplier coordination, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to objectives.

This role requires up to 25% travel, a technical degree and 10 years in engineering or tech PM in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline or business management.
• 10 years of engineering or technical program/project management experience.
• Knowledge of PM methodologies, tools, processes and governance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals to win new programs.
• Negotiate with customers balancing financials, resources and contracts.
• Lead program start-up, organization and planning.
• Develop program plans including SOW, contract and requirements.
• Coordinate scheduling, pricing and technical performance.
• Coordinate and conduct formal program reviews.
• Ensure adherence to plans and schedules.
• Identify and manage program risks and deliverables.
• Communicate program status, issues and successes to stakeholders.
• Identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans.
• Facilitate supplier/subcontractor calls and visits.
