Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years' experience in Operations, Planning, or Project Management).
• Project management experience across multi-disciplinary teams preferred.
• Project Management Certification preferred (not required).
• Proficiency in AS400, Looking Glass, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Product Managers and Application Engineers to ensure the right lead times are quoted for new products.
• Establish project plans for all new orders for new products with critical milestones identified.
• Facilitate and participate in design reviews and first builds in manufacturing.
• Track each milestone for all projects daily, reporting any slips in the schedules to management.
• Develop recovery plans with all groups when milestones are missed.
• Track and report progress on component and assembly work orders that support the projects.
• Trend performance to final delivery commitment dates.
• Perform root cause analysis on orders that miss commitment dates and identify corrective actions to improve performance over time.
• Point of Contact for questions concerning orders from both sales and external customers.
• Collaborate with Amphenol manufacturing locations to meet customer expectations for deliverables and cost.
