Job summary

Citizens is seeking a Business Support Manager to join the Commercial Banking colleague development program management team. You will coordinate programs, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive day-to-day business support activities across recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee development.

You will partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Technology, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure effective service delivery, process improvements, and operational excellence while preparing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Three or more years of business support, program coordination, or operations experience.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating programs, meetings, events, travel, onboarding, or training activities.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to work effectively with senior leaders, employees, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented approach, including process improvements.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Support business strategies and initiatives aligned with organizational priorities, program objectives, and key business drivers.
• Coordinate business support activities across recruiting, early-talent, onboarding, training, and employee development programs.
• Provide consultative and operational support to business leaders and stakeholders, helping clarify needs, manage priorities, and resolve execution challenges.
• Partner across Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Technology, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and other functions to support effective program and service delivery.
• Oversee program operations, schedules, resources, reporting, communications, and stakeholder deliverables.
• Identify operational risks, service gaps, and process inefficiencies, and develop solutions that improve business outcomes.
• Use reporting, analysis, and stakeholder feedback to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Prepare leadership updates, presentations, and recommendations in support of strategic and operational initiatives.
