Job summary

HirexHire is partnering with a Chicago-based healthcare technology client to hire a Strategy & Operations Associate to drive top strategic initiatives and scale the new Strategic Program Office.

Working with the Chief of Staff and executives, you will lead cross-functional programs, turn strategy into measurable results, and improve execution across the organization.

This highly analytical role requires strong problem solving, ownership, and experience in high-growth SaaS or tech environments.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, business operations, or a similar strategic role within a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and develop actionable recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience creating executive-level presentations, analyses, and business communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives from planning through execution, partnering with leaders across Product, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, Customer Success, and Operations.
• Manage the company's portfolio of strategic initiatives, ensuring projects have clear ownership, measurable goals, defined timelines, and executive visibility.
• Help build and mature the Strategic Program Office by establishing governance, operating rhythms, portfolio management processes, and accountability frameworks.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, organizational priorities, executive communications, board materials, and other high-impact business initiatives.
• Develop executive-ready analyses, presentations, and recommendations that simplify complex information and support informed decision making.
• Define success metrics for strategic initiatives, monitor key performance indicators, identify execution risks, and recommend corrective actions when needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency by leveraging AI tools, automation, and standardized workflows across the business.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment by driving accountability, removing execution roadblocks, and maintaining momentum on critical company priorities.
